The Ooba Duck Egg 3-1 Travel System* from Cosatto (£750)
The Hold 0+ Duck Egg Car Seat* from Cosatto (£145)

When I started this blog six years ago I never envisaged I would find myself getting excited about a pushchair...let alone reviewing it amongst a plethora of lipstick and perfume features. But here I am swooning over a four-wheeled, baby-transporting piece of beauty and it certainly makes me a proud mama stepping out with my little one wrapped up and sleeping tight in my Cosatto Ooba pushchair.

I think one of the biggest investments that comes with a newborn is the new set of wheels. You obviously want to get value for money but something that will fit in well with your day to day life and personal style. The reason I fell in love with the Cosatto range of prams, pushchairs, car seats and travel systems (yep, they do them all!) is the fact that every piece carries a bit of personality. If you love fun colours, bright patterns and sturdy British design then you will definitely find something you love here. Since we tentatively ventured out on our first walk outdoors when Florence was just five days old, we have both been loving using the Cosatto Ooba 3-1 Travel System in Duck Egg and certainly clock a few approving looks every time we walk into town.

So what makes this travel system so good? Well firstly, it looks fab. Of course, aesthetics aren't everything but I did want a pram to be proud of and one that would make me smile every time I push Florence around. The luxury leatherette trim, white accent frame and wheels and that crazy kaleidoscope interior all makes this a really fun, unique pushchair. That colourful pattern has kept Florence transfixed during our strolls around the park and just long enough for mum to grab a quick chai tea latte on the way home. Ok, so the white wheels won't stay white for very long but the fact they quickly and easily click on and off means you can hose them down whenever you want. The folding chassis is wonderfully simple and light to collapse and put up again making it small enough to store away at home or pop in the boot of your car for day trips out. The infant carrier for babies up to six months has a removable, washable lining and mattress and can also be used as an occasional infant sleeping cot if you were staying away from home and were short of space.

Another great point to mention about this travel system is the handy, adjustable, two-way handlebar which means that once your babe is in the six months +  seat you can easily change the pram from parent-facing to forward-facing mode by simply releasing the handlebar up and over the seat and away you go. The aluminium chassis and swivel-ly wheels supply you with all round suspension which is great if you need to venture cross-country (but just watch those precious white wheels!). Both seats come with toy loops on the hood which we have found invaluable to hang some little toys for Florence to help keep her entertained during our outings. The travel system also comes with a matching, and rather nice, changing bag to match your pram, a reversible cosy-toes for the six month + seat and patterned rain covers to keep your little one warm and dry. The chassis also supports the Hold 0+ Duck Egg Car Seat (sold separately) so if you are just going for a short walk you can move your little one from car to wheels without having to wake them and move them into the infant carrier. This car seat matches the fun, stylish look of the travel system and we have been using it for all our car adventures so far. It is squidgy yet sturdy so Florence looks comfortable yet really secure once she is all strapped in with the padded shoulder straps, head-hugger, tummy pad and seat liner. Like the travel system, it also comes with a coordinating rain cover to show the British weather who's boss!

As you can probably gage, there isn't much I don't love about the Ooba Travel System from Cosatto. Ok, so the basket at the bottom could be a little more roomy (or maybe I should just learn to buy less!) and mounting high pavements can be a bit tricky meaning you have to pop your foot on the back of the basket to give the pram some leverage. But luckily because it is so lightweight, this isn't much of an issue. And finally the click buttons on the infant carrier to release the hood are quite tough to press in and make quite a loud 'clunk' noise when you do which can startle a sleeping babe. So my advice would be just leave the hood up even if you've made it home and your newborn is still snoozing. Other than that though it has been a dream using this pram and I think the design, colours and unique features really sets it apart and brightens up my afternoon walks every day!

Get the sun-kissed look this Summer with Clarins' newest collection | Out in May 2016 and available online

You know that Summer is well and truly on the way when Clarins' iconic, giant bronzing and blush compact lands on your doormat. Becoming quite a cult product as the seasons go by, this complexion-warming, limited edition bronzer is just one of the amazing new products to be released this May from Clarins to get us sun-kissed and glowing for Summer. Whether you are tanning by the pool or going out in the warm summer evenings, this collection promises to give you a flawless complexion with a harmony of rich gold and bronze shades, sparkling eyes and fresh, fruity lips.

Firstly the Bronzing & Blush Compact* (£30) is embossed with a sun-inspired motif and warms your complexion with a blend of copper, terracotta and golden tones and an apricot pearlescent blush in the centre. Swirled together or used separately, these powders complement all skin tones and boosts a formula that cares for the skin whilst adding luminosity to your complexion. Every year Clarins launch a new one of these compacts and every year I vow that the latest one is my favourite but I do actually think this could be my absolute favourite - the tones and finish on the skin is just gorgeous and adds a natural radiance and sun-kissed dusting to your makeup.

For the eyes Clarins have released a range of four waterproof Eyeshadow Shimmering Cream Colours* (£18) which have a soft cream formula that glide easily onto the eyelids. The fine pearl particles provide a shimmering colour to subtly illuminate the eyes whilst the bitter orange tree wax creates a protective shield against water and humidity making sure the colour stays put longer during those warmer days. Above I have swatched 04. Copper Brown and 02. Silver Taupe and I think you will agree that Copper Brown, in particular, is just gorgeous!

Possibly the most exciting part of this new collection is the launch of a brand new Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil* (£19) in 03. Red Berry. You only need read my previous post here to see just why I love these lip oils so much. During the Summer when lips can be left feeling dry and parched, the Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil is the only remedy you will need to nourish and love your lips instantly whilst enhancing their natural colour.

The Clarins Fix' Make-Up* (£24) has apparently been around before but has just undergone a bit of a facelift. I had never tried this product out before and now I can see why it would be the ultimate summer beauty must-have. It is an ultra-fine cooling mist that sets makeup by forming an invisible veil over the face. The Aloe Vera hydrates the skin, the Allantoin soothes whilst the exclusive Clarins anti-pollution complex protects the skin from external aggressors so is a great option to cool, refresh and shield your complexion on hot days out and about. Pop it in the fridge for the ultimate, refreshing experience when you spritz!

Finally there is a new and improved formula for the Double Fix' Mascara* (£20) which is a multi-tasking product for your brows and eyelashes. The clear formula enriched with bitter orange tree wax can be used over your mascara to create a waterproof barrier or combed through your brows to keep them tame. The wax helps create a water repellent, protective shield to ensure long-lasting, waterproof results. It is a great little beauty staple to have to groom brows and style lashes for a minimal makeup look.

Summer is certainly going to be sun-kissed this year (even if the sun doesn't shine) thanks to Clarins! What pieces have you got your eye on?

Gorgeous Lacquer Shine from Revlon* (£7.99) | available from Boots
TOP: Smoky Topaz | BOTTOM: Strawberry Topaz

Following the love and success that the Revlon Ultra HD lipsticks range gleamed last year, it was only a matter of time before Revlon answered their fans and brought out an Ultra HD Lip Lacquer collection. This revolutionary lacquer provides lips with true colour clarity, high gloss shine and a lightweight feel. Featuring a high-definition gel base formula, these lacquers wrap lips in true colour pigmentation and a shiny, rich finish for a gorgeous pout, day or night.

This new range has nine sumptuous shades from pretty nudes, bright corals, rosy pinks and a deep burgundy. They all have a high-shine finish with a variety of cream, shimmer and pearlescent formulas which look gorgeous on the lips. The texture is rich and creamy giving an impressive near-opaque finish once applied whilst feeling light, bouncy and not too sticky! The slim brush makes application easy and precise as it hugs the lips with colour and glimmer. Perfect for light, fresh makeup this Spring and Summer.

NEW Pure Color Envy Sculpting Glosses* from Estee Lauder (£20) | available online
TOP: Reckless Bloom | BOTTOM: Suggestive Kiss

Shape. Sculpt. Shine. Lips to envy. Let me introduce you to the latest gloss to grace the Estee Lauder lip product line-up, and it is a really special collection. The new high-performing formula provides comfort, lasting moisture and multi-dimensional lip glazing shine for a look of magnified volume with the sticky mess. Hooray!

This latest range of lip glosses from Estee Lauder boosts an array of gorgeous shades to suit all skin tones and makeup looks. They contain Hyaluronic Acid for lasting moisture and really do feel incredibly luxurious and silky on your lips - as well as giving them the appearance of fullness and luminosity. I hate sticky, gloopy lip glosses but thankfully these sit really comfortably and have a fluid, balm-like texture, making them perfect to wear alone or layered over lipstick to add shimmer and shine. I adore the two shades I have been trying out recently but in particular Suggestive Kiss, which is a sweet, baby-pink shade with subtle sparkle.  Such an easy shade to pop on and wear day to day knowing your lips will stay moisturised as well as looking pretty in pink.

Will you be checking out this new range of glosses?

The Malibu Nudes Collection from Bobbi Brown | available on counters and online
LIMITED EDITION Blush Duo (pastel pink/powder pink)* (£29.50) & Art Stick (Hot Berry)* £20

This recent collection from Bobbi Brown has been inspired by the easy, carefree beauty of California's south coast. Picture blonde, sea-tangled hair, bare feet in the sand, a surf board or two, crashing waves and natural, barely there makeup. The Malibu Nudes collection from Bobbi Brown features an iconic neutrals eyeshadow palette, juxtaposed with pops of pinks for the cheeks and the lips. It encapsulates that Californian, laid back vibe perfectly.

The Limited Edition Blush Duos, available in four shades each featuring two complementary powders, are all about achieving that healthy flush after a day in the sun. They give a natural yet long-lasting wash of colour to your cheeks and feel silky and flawless to apply. They aren't cakey at all and give a buildable, smooth dusting of colour to easily fake a day in the sun.

The Art Sticks for the lips set to complement the fresh and relaxed Malibu makeup look. There is a selection of six new and two limited edition Art Sticks available, ranging from classic neutrals to bright, bold hues. I adore the BB Art Sticks as they deliver a creamy matte finish without being too drying, and are so easy to apply with the crayon-like tip. They feel moisturising on the lips and don't drag or pull as you fill in the colour. They give your lips a wonderfully defined look along with a gorgeous pop of pink, berry, coral or nude that will last all day long on the beach or in the bar!

Shake it Up with the NEW Lance Juicy Shakers for glossy lips* (£18) | available online
TOP: Mangoes Wild | BOTTOM: Berry in Love

I don't think I have used a Lancome lip product since my schooldays and it was all about having a Juicy Tube or two hidden in your blazer pocket. Oh the nostalgia! Now Lancome are shaking things up a bit. With a subtle nod to the original Juicy Tubes they have launched the ever-so-fun Juicy Shakers in 14 playful shades and flavours.

This revolutionary product houses a bi-phased formula of nourishing lip oils (sweet almond oil, omega 3 and cranberry oil) and beautiful pigments which require shaking up and combining before you apply the gloss onto your lips. I love the fun packaging of these lip glosses influenced by the familiar shape of a cocktail shaker. The top of the shaker hides a cushion-y soft applicator which absorbs just the right amount of pigment during the 'shake up' to distribute a lovely juicy gloss of colour onto your lips. The feel of this applicator is quite unique and after reading Fleur's review of these she totally hit the nail on the head by describing it as a 'soft gummy sweet'. The applicator does feel like one of those Haribo tangfastic sweets which is weirdly wonderful! It is tapered so hugs the contours of your lips and makes applying these glosses ultra-easy for when you are on the go.

Despite being described as a gloss, these Juicy Shakers are definitely more of a oily balm which leaves a sheer tint on your lips without the stickiness or heaviness of a standard gloss. The sponge imparts a lovely diffused wash of colour which is a lot less vibrant than the formula you can see in the shaker. It is the perfect option to wear alone for a paired-down makeup look or layered on top of a satin or matte lipstick to add a touch of shine and shimmer.

Each Juicy Shaker has a deliciously different scent ranging from the fruity, cakey and caramel-like which will leave you applying these all day long especially as the formula of oils keeps your lips gorgeously nourished and soft with each application.

Are you going to be shaking up these new Juicy glosses?

NEW Chloe Love Story EDT* from £42 | Available online

There is something very beautiful about the Chloe fragrances. The pleated glass bottles, the honey-shaded liquid, the blush-pink ribbon and the golden accents. They certainly earn that spot, pride of place, on your dressing table and I was ridiculously lucky to receive a personalised bottle which I will cherish forever. Swoon! I adored the scent of the original Chloe Love Story Eau de Parfum but now, just in time for Spring, Chloe have introduced the Eau de Toilette version. A little lighter, more floral and a lot fresher - it is delicate and sensual on the skin.

If you like your perfumes packed full of fresh floral and fruity vibes then this EDT will make you very happy. It certainly ticked all the right boxes for me after the first spritz and sniff! The fragrance is sparkling with Orange Blossom with a burst of peppery nasturtium and prunus flower. It is feminine, soft and gorgeously floral on the skin. It is the perfect option if you are on the hunt for an everyday fragrance especially as we enter the Summer months - something carefree and delightful that you can spritz liberally and revel in the aroma of fresh flowers.

Have you had a sniff of this new Chloe scent yet?
