Words cannot express how surprised slash excited I was when I spotted this amazing shirt in Matalan the other week. I had gone in for homeware bits, specifically some new mugs and a vase, and left with two pieces of clothing and a pair of earrings. When did Matalan get so hip?! I love the bright fusion of florals and abstract patterns in this shirt, along with the contrasting black collar and central panel. It is just lush and thankfully long enough in the body to wear with leggings as well as tucked into a skirt or shorts. With a metallic flash of gold from my collar necklace and a slick of hot pink lipstick, I was good to go and head out for the final flurry of birthday celebrations with my wonderful work friends. I couldn't have asked for a more fun night and I know I shall definitely be returning to Matalan very soon for a closer look at their clothing range!

Matalan really do pull it out the bag at times, I got a gorgeous horse print peter pan collar dress last year.

I recently went to matalan and was impressed too, they had a few different shirts in vibrant colours and prints which I loved. xo
I'm sure if I spyed that shirt on a hanger I'd fail to realise its potential. Kudos to you for making it look so wearable and lovely.

I ummed and ahhhed about getting this shirt at the weekend when I was in Matalan (mega love!!) but decided against it.. I'm thinking I might go back and get it.
